This is the fourth time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing little Laura, so I’ve been fortunate to witness her grow and change over her first two years of her life.  What a fun and intelligent child she is!  We set out to explore Groton Woods on a late May morning.  It was raining softly, but the trees made a nice canopy and we were able to brave the elements.  Due to such an unusually cold winter and spring, I knew that the park wouldn’t have much in bloom yet.  My brain – always racing with ideas – couldn’t pass up the yellow wildflowers I spotted growing on the side of the road on my way there.  I had to pull over and pick a quick bouquet!  I knew they would provide just the perfect burst of color.  Turns out, Laura is obsessed with flowers.  She was adorable carrying them around with her everywhere.  It was a win/win! Here are some of my favorite highlights of our day together.
