I had the pleasure of photographing this Groton family right before Christmas.  They contacted me (with fingers crossed that I would be able to squeeze them in so close to the holidays!) to document the special occasion of having everyone home for the holidays.  When the mom told me that her step son was coming all the way from Prague, I knew I had to say yes.  I could feel the excitement in the air from the moment I walked in the door.  It was palpable.  Little Sophia was over the moon to spend time with her brothers. It was so sweet to witness the special bond that they share.

What a special, fun-loving family who radiates love both in person and through their photographs.

“Brown Bear” has been with Sophia since birth – it’s very special to her.  I love to capture sentimental details and keepsakes like this.

After the indoor portion of our shoot, we headed right down the street to the beautiful grounds of The Gibbet Hill Grill. It was absolutely freezing out, but we made the best of the chilly few minutes we had together.
