Do you currently have a child who is a high school Junior? It’s hard to believe, but it is getting to be the time of year to start thinking about Senior portraits. Typically taken in the summer or early fall prior to the student’s Senior year, it’s important to do your planning ahead of time so that you are not stuck in a panic come October when the yearbook deadline is looming. I’ve seen some photos due to area school yearbooks as early as November 1st. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
I personally love shooting Senior portraits sessions. Being such an exciting time in a teenager’s life, I enjoy learning about their lives and interests, showing off their true personalities with my lens. We take all the time we need, often with a wardrobe change or two to add variety. Here is a taste of what you can expect with a typical senior session with me:
When we shot these over the summer, Riley was going into his Senior year at Windham High School in Windham NH. An avid baseball player and a proud Jeep owner, we were able to capture Riley not only with a variety of portrait headshots, but also with a more environmental approach to showcase his interests at this time in his life. Together they tell his story.
Congratulations Riley and the class of 2017. Only 2 months to go, and the real world is all yours for the taking!
