The forecast was calling for 75 degree weather (in February!), and I had my eyes set on a day playing hooky at the beach, when an old friend contacted me saying that her baby was born and was hoping we could do newborn portraits that day.  How could I possibly say no to that?

She was concerned that we would run into challenges shooting in her tiny Cambridge apartment, but I assured her that I have lots of experience photographing newborns in all types of spaces.  Trust in my experience.  If there is light and there is love, there is nothing to worry about.
