With the fall photography rush behind me, I finally have time to get caught up on some blogging.  Over the next coming weeks, I’ll be sharing some highlights from my 2018 sessions.  I’m excited for you to see what I’ve been up to! Now without further ado…

I was hired by this lovely new mom and dad who came all the way from Singapore to visit their parents who live in the area for Thanksgiving.  It was the grandparent’s first time meeting their grandson and an extra meaningful shoot because the grandfather has Alzheimer’s. It was important to them that they had portraits of him with his grandson before the disease took over completely.  I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived, as these things can be unpredictable, but I am so pleased by what we were able to capture that beautiful fall afternoon.  The love was overflowing.  I remember getting into my car after hugging them goodbye and being struck with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. To freeze time for my clients and give them memories that they can hold on to and pass down – it’s the #1 reason why I choose to do what I do for a living.
