Fall in New Hampshire always feels magical, and it’s one of my favorite times to photograph high school seniors. The crisp air, the golden leaves, and that soft, warm light set the stage for unforgettable portraits. I recently photographed a senior at Beaver Brook in Hollis, NH, and the session reminded me why I love this spot so much.

Beaver Brook gives us so many options. There are trails where the leaves light up in bright yellows and oranges, gardens and wildflowers that transform through the seasons, and wide open fields that glow in golden hour light. Every turn offers a fresh backdrop, which gives your senior gallery so much variety.

What I love most about photographing seniors is how they bring their own personality to the session. Whether it’s a favorite flannel, a casual outfit that feels just like “them,” or something a little more dressed up, it’s those personal touches that make the photos so special. My goal is always to keep things relaxed and fun so genuine smiles (and a few laughs) come naturally.
