I had the pleasure of meeting 3 week old Samuel and his parents a few weeks ago.  When I arrived, I couldn’t get over how awake and alert he was for his age.  Sleep was the last thing on this boy’s mind, so I seized the opportunity to get him swaddled and capture his beautiful blue eyes.  Once some time passed and he surrendered to Snoozeville,  we were able to get a nice variety of sleeping and awake images.  One great thing about custom photography, and working with an experienced newborn photographer at your home, is that there is no rushing.  We break whenever we need to. We share birth stories and baby advice and laughs.  Being invited into a family’s home – especially during such a life changing phase – is something I take very seriously.  Making them feel comfortable and getting to know them as people is as important to me as “getting the shot.”  Knowing their story helps me tell it.  The results are authentic, timeless, snippets of love.
