Somehow it happened right before my eyes.  My baby turned two.  Anyone who has ever had a two-year-old boy knows,  life is like a 3 ring circus every day.  The non-stop action, the wonder, the bravery, the menagerie of mischief…the fun.

It couldn’t have been more fitting to plan a circus party for Max’s big day. 

One of these days, I will learn not to count on nice weather for our big events.  It rained on our wedding day and there was a blizzard the day I gave birth to our daughter.  It should be no surprise that the backyard fantasy I had in my head was relocated indoors due to pouring rain.  I give him a hard time about his new obsession (I will never understand the love affair between a guy and a garage), but my husband’s “garage mahal” (as he calls it) sure did come in handy housing our bouncy house and a herd of wild animals, otherwise known as a group of children under the age of 7.
