I’ve always been a fan of photographing families downtown.  It’s a scene that works great all year round, but is an especially good choice when nature’s beauty needs a little boost (i.e. mid-November in New England!)

I had a wonderful time photographing this family this past November.  Take a look and you’ll see why!

Meet Jackson, Deb, Matthew, Shelby and Bob.  The little jokester in the middle – that’s Matthew.  He reminds me a lot of my own son, so I was a softy for that boy from minute #1!  And I could have talked to Jackson all day.  7 year olds rock.  Deb did such a great job putting their wardrobe together for this shoot.  An amazing family all around.

Thanks to a warm fall, we were still able to find some green grass!

The following is one of my all time favorite sibling photos!  Other than the dirty knees (which I LOVE in this photo because what is a boy without dirt?), you would never know that Matthew just took a huge spill onto the pavement.

2 year old Shelby was not having it that day, so we made the most of capturing her where she was happiest — in mommy’s arms.
