A new year.  A new life.  I can’t think of a better way to kick off blogging in 2017 than to share some of my favorite images from my most recent newborn session. I first met this family right after they welcomed their second child into the world. Now she is a bubbly two year old – and a big sister!  We shot on location at their home in Tynsborough MA, which was the perfect backdrop for their lifestyle newborn session.  Young kids are typically the most comfortable and in their own element when they are in familiar surroundings.  Newborns have everything they need to be cared for right there.  There is no lugging around of carseats, diapers, and changes of clothes.  We have everything that we need right at our finger tips.  Above all, photographing lifestyle sessions at home offers results that are timeless, personal and authentic.

The photograph above was chosen by the family to print on a 24×36 inch gallery wrapped canvas to display in their living room.  It looks even more amazing in person and it’s the kind of image that you can’t help but smile at every time you walk by it.
