Living in New England this winter has felt a whole heck of a lot like the movie Groundhog Day.  Am I right or am I right?  Between snow days and sick days, my kids (legit!) have not had a full week of school in over 4 months.  Yes, the snow is pretty out there, but I’m ready for summer and I can’t be the only one who feels a little nauseous at the thought of taking and/or posting snow photos today.  So while I’m in my basement hiding from the 5 kids tearing my house apart working, I thought was the perfect time to share one of my favorite sessions from this past summer at the beach.  And if I crank up my space heater high enough, I can almost pretend I’m there right now.

This session will be cherished deep in my heart, not only because this is one of my favorite families to work with, but because their beloved dog, Fritz, passed away unexpectedly soon after our shoot.  I am super grateful that Wells Beach permits dogs on the beach in the evening, which allowed them to bring this important family member to the shoot that night.  Look at how happy he was, running free on the sand and in the surf with the people he loved most.
