One of my daughter’s favorite places is the library.  And it should come as no surprise that she loves reading.  She’s always had a thirst for knowledge and an imagination that would make Dr. Suess proud.

We headed to the library this week and I thought it would be fun to bring my camera along.

Maya’s favorite books are from the Magic Treehouse series.  If you aren’t familiar with them, I strongly suggest you check em out.  4,000,000 times more awesome than a certain Who-shall-not- be-named B. Jones.  If you’ve read the later, I’m pretty sure you catch my drift. 😉

Maya made this neat discovery about two of her favorite topics:  China (I have no idea why!) and birds (she’s obsessed).  She had great fun learning how to write the symbol for the word by tracing it with her finger.

(Funny side note – She gets giddy with excitement whenever she sees that something is “made in China.”  Ah, the irony.)
