Hey there.  Remember me?  I know it’s been a while.

December is upon us now, and with the chilly weather comes a slower pace to the portrait world.  It’s a time of year I look forward to annually – a much needed change of pace from the hustle and bustle of fall family sessions.  Slowing down a little bit also means that I finally have time to share some of my favorite sessions from the past few months.

This session took place over the summer, out and about the beautiful Groton School in Groton MA.  It was a gorgeous evening and I think the images have the palpable quality of connection and love that’s my goal to seek and capture with every family I photograph.  The following as some of my favorite snaps from our time together.

One of my absolute favorites times shoot is during the 5-10 minute window after the sun has gone down, but before the light leaves the sky.  The light at that time has an ethereal quality that cannot be replicated any other time of the day.  I wish I could bottle it up, I love it so much. You’ll see what I mean when you look through these last few photographs.
