Londonderry NH newborn and baby photographer

For the past several weeks I have been working on a video montage project for my son who is turning 10 this month.  As it’s a reality for many second borns (and I can imagine even moreso with a 3rd, 4th…), I I’m not nearly as vigilant about doing these types of projects for him as I was with my first born.  She got a “Maya turns 1” video.  A “Maya turns 2” video.  A “Maya turns 10” video.  Without any video of his own to date, for 3 years my son has been talking about how excited he is to turn 10 so he can finally have a video of his own.  I figured I had 3 years to get this done.  No problem!  And then I blinked realized that 3 years was up and his birthday is this month.  In the midst of all the end of school year crazies and a home remodel from….well, let’s just say that it’s not going as planned, I dropped EVERYTHING to make sure that this kid had the most amazing “Max turns 10” video a boy could ever have.  Despite a failed hard drive, the very hard lessons that came with that, and many tears, it’s finally complete.  This means I can finally return to my regularly scheduled life (as regular as it can be without a stove or sink!) and get back to blogging my work.

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family/Amal Clooney lookalike (am i right?) as they welcomed their adorable daughter into their lives via adoption.  I just LOVE the colors they chose for their wardrobe, especially how they look up against that to-die-for blue velvet chair.  We shot at their home in Londonderry NH which is the perfect backdrop for lifestyle baby portraits.  The following as some of my favorite highlights from the session.  It is my hope that they may find a place in her “turns 10” video some day.
