My client, Bill, wanted to give his wife a super special gift for her birthday.  He contacted me to set up a photo shoot of his two daughters to give her as a surprise.  There aren’t many things in life that moms treasure more than photographs of their children.  Are you listening, men?  Bill is smart!

Ella and Emilie are incredible, beautiful kids.  It was nearly impossible to narrow these down, so please bear with this picture-heavy post.  I’ll stop talking now so you can get to looking! 😉

Oh, and one last thing – this shoot is proof that indoor, at home lifestyle sessions (no matter what season!) are the bees knees.

Ella and Emilie’s mom owns an art gallery and every room in this house had me drooling.  Impeccable.  This painting is titled “Ella” so I thought it was especially fitting to photograph their Ella under it. 🙂

We could have easily shot the entire session indoors, but we thought it would be fun to bundle up and go outside for a few.

Often times at the end of my sessions when the key images out of the way, I’ll stick around a bit to get silly and just play with the kids.  With the pressure off of everyone, many of my favorite images have come from these times.
