Where has the summer gone? I cannot believe it is already August and Kindergarten starts for my daughter at the end of THIS MONTH! Time flies when you are busy, that is for sure. Speaking of busy, I am so behind in blog updates that I’m taking advantage of the free babysitting at the YMCA (shhhh….don’t tell!) so I can blog about this fun recent session. Then I’ll squeeze a quick workout in so I don’t feel too guilty. Talk about multi-tasking!

But enough about me, let’s meet this gorgeous family.  🙂

Megan just celebrated her second birthday.  Although she was shy at first, her vivacious personality quickly emerged.  She is the same age as my son and it was really fun to see the similarities in their cognitive development, both pointing at and naming everything they see. 

We became fast friends.

She really opened up when we started singing, “If you’re happy and you know it…”  I love her pure joy in these images.

Megan’s parents brought balloons to match the special dress her grandmother sent from Hong Kong.  What a happy way to end a fun session.

It was a pleasure to meet you, Kenneth and Macy, and I am thrilled to have the honor of being the first photographer able to capture a family portrait with her smiling!  I’ll always have a special place in my heart for your little girl!
