If I’m being honest, it was a morning, but catchy blog post titles can be hard to come by. 😉

NH school vacation is a different a week than most of the country, which I think is just about the best thing since sliced bread.  When else can we visit the Boston Children’s Museum with the kids off from school and not have to fight a single crowd?

I normally leave my big camera at home when we do these kinds of things (gasp! shock!  Thank you, iPhone), but in my recent efforts to shoot more for me, I dragged it along.  And even though the available light at the bubble attraction was a photographer’s worst nightmare, I’m reminded that shooting for me has less to do with creating the perfect image and everything to do with simply being present.

No trip to Boston is complete without a visit to the North End.  Our favorite spot for pastries is Maria’s.

The kids got to experience their first ever Cannoli.

I doubt it will be the last.
